life is my soundtrack's rendition of "moonlight sonata" is now a featured track on the new compilation "the best of bandcamp's best - vol. 01."

bandcamp's best is a website that reviews the music of independent artists that use bandcamp as a means of music distribution. in 2011, i was fortunate enough to have my album "remixes, vol. 01" reviewed (you can read the review here). in celebration of bandcamp's best passing the 1 year mark, an 18-song compilation has been commissioned, featuring artists who have been featured on the website.

2010 sea no evil art show/benefit

on july 31st, in riverside, california, there's going to be an art show/benefit to help preserve and protect the oceans of the world. the show is called "sea no evil," and will feature work from over 80 artists, including shepard fairey (obey), deph (to die for), greg "craola" simkins, and amanda visell. the show will also feature music sets from actress michelle rodriguez (avatar, the fast and the furious), the crystal method, matt costa, and my good friend jason welsher (to die for)...

i'm donating several copies of my ocean-themed album "into the deep blue sea" to the show, so if you get the chance to make it on the 31st, be on the lookout...
